In year 2017-18, EDC organize innovative Idea Generation Competitions with same objective to extract the idea from the student which become a product in market. Total 115 teams were registered under three domains:

1) Electronics and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
2) Information Technology and Computer Engineering
3) Mechanical, Civil and Automobile Engineering

These ideas are judged in two levels, in first level idea judged by departmental HODs and one external examiner from each department and on second level judging is done by 4 external judges, Total 24 ideas are shortlisted in 1st round and only three in 2nd round. Our principal sir awarded them by cash prize cash 1st prize of Rs. 3000/, 2nd prize of Rs.2000 and 3rd cash prize of Rs. 1000/ with certificates, 1st prize of cash Rs. 3000/, 2nd prize of Rs.2000 and 3rd cash prize of Rs. 1000/ with certificates.
